Mr.Gallo asked "What other characters from other movies for play etc. does bottom remind you of?" He asked this because my class was reading the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. Bottom is a character in the book is who very self centered and pushes too hard to be in the spotlight and thinks he is better than everyone else when he really is not.Bottom reminds me of one of the soldiers in 300. He thought he was better than all 300 soldiers when he really was not. Feel Free to comment. Don't be a stranger. What do you think of Bottom? Interesting comparison Diamond. I think that it is interesting that none of Bottom's friends tell him that he is really kind of a jerk. They seem to agree with his own very high sense of self and therefore are almost encouraging his behavior.I wonder if they don't see it or are they just not very intelligent?
