If you were to act this play out on stage, which character would you choose to be and why?

My least favorite character in th eplay was Nick Bottom. I did not like him as much as the other characters beacuse everytime it came for his part i sighed. I sighed beacuse it's annoying to hear someone talk about themselves the entire time and how much better they are than everyone else. The only thing i did enjoy is when he turned into the donkey and everyone ran away from him.

Who was your least favorite character? Why?

if i were to to act this play out on stage i would play Hermia. I would play Hermia's part beacuse her lines seem dramatic and interesting to say. I feel i would enjoy playing her part because she is one or the main characters and i feel i would be good for her part. Hermia's lines seem to be very dramtic and serious at times and i feel it would be a good challenge for me.

Did you like the play? Why or why not?

In my opion the play was really good. It was very funny and it was not too long. Also in many plays or books there are alot of unnecessary characters. In this play there were unnecessary characters but not as many. In many plays or books the unnecessary characters do not speak and in this play they did speak.

A Midsummer Night's Dream Act 3

The actors for the play that will be held at the wedding are practicing in the woods. Of course Bottom tries to take the lead again. Puck plays one of his tricks and turns his head into a donkey head. When everyone saw his donkey head they all run. As Bottom is walking in the woods he walks past Titania and she wakes up. The juice magic powers work and she falls in love with Bottom.

Bottom vs. 300

Mr.Gallo asked "What other characters from other movies for play etc. does bottom remind you of?" He asked this because my class was reading the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. Bottom is a character in the book is who very self centered and pushes too hard to be in the spotlight and thinks he is better than everyone else when he really is not.Bottom reminds me of one of the soldiers in 300. He thought he was better than all 300 soldiers when he really was not. Feel Free to comment. Don't be a stranger. What do you think of Bottom? A Midsummer Night's Dream Act 1 Scene 1 and 2

In Act 1 Scene 1 and 2 Oberon and Titania have an arguement about the young indian prince and the unhappiness of the human world because of their arguements. Demetrius and Hermia argue in the woods about Demetrius's love for Hermia and not Helena while he looks for Hermia in the woods. Oberon is secrectly watching this arguement and because of Demetrius's cruelness he sends his fairy to put the potion on Demetrius as well as Titania. The fairy messes up and thinks Lysander is Demetrius and puts the potion of Lysander. This potion is to make the fairy fall in love with the first person in sight when they wake up. Demetrius leaves Helena in the woods and as she looks for him she finds Lysander and Hermia sleeping. She wakes Lysander and he falls in love with Helena because of the potion. Helena thinks he is being sarcastic and is hurt and runs away crying. Then Hermia wakes up thinking Lysander left her in the woods so she looks for him.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

In the begining of the book Egeus went to Theseus to complain about how daughter is disobeying him. If she disobeys him he wants to have her killed. She is disobeying her father by wanting to marry Lysander instead of Demetrius. This makes Lysander and Hermia want to run away without her father or Demetrius knowing. Hermia tells Helena whos is jealous of her beauty who tells Demetrius about her and Lysander running away. Telling him this makes him run after her.

In scene two Bottom, Quince, and the rest of the cast who is entertaing at Theseus and Hippolytia's wedding are talking about the casting parts and when they can practice. In act two Titania and Obreon argue about how bad fairyworld and and the human world is because of them arguing. After this Demetrius and Helena argue about how he doesnt love her and he wants to find Hermia because she ran away. Obreon was secretly invisble listening to this. He told Robin to put this potion on his wifes eyes and Demetrius's eyes because of theri cruleness.

Henry V

Well , Henry V was an okay play. We got there pretty late so it was hard to understand everything that was going on and which character was which. It was a little hard to pay attention because the play was dry in many spots meaning it was not interesting at some points. My favorite scences were the french scene because it was funny the way the princess pronouced the english words. The end of the play was also my favorite because that was also funny. This was when the king was trying to marry the princess. my least favorite part was when one of the characters kept saying "and" between almost every sentence. Most of you might find that funny but i found it annoying. Comment on this blog blogging about your favorite and least favorite parts about Henry V.
